February 2015
Basin Design Service, LLC started with 3 employees and one client.
CHRISTMAS 2015
About 10 months later our team was small, but steadfast. We were looking forward to a bright future.
CHRISTMAS 2018
A few more years and our team tripled in size and we gained our engineering license. Sporting new jackets and renewed vigor, we were ready to take on the next challenge.
CHRISTMAS 2019
A few months before our 5th anniversary as a company, we have almost 30 full-time employees, and a grand plan for 2020!
FEBRUARY 2020
Basin Design Service, LLC celebrates its 5th anniversary as a design company for the oil and gas industry!
MARCH 2020
As the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the Permian Basin, our 3D printers began work on face shields that could be donated to healthcare workers across Texas. Currently over 600 face shields have been created and delivered!
august 2020
In total Basin Design created and donated 1,800 face shields and 40 ear saver sets, as well as delivering 466 face shields/materials to cities across Texas.
May 2021
Basin Design dipped its toe into architectural work, scanning several city blocks for a building project.

Our very own Jason Merz spoke at the 2021 OCI luncheon.
OCTOBER 2021
Basin Design got the chance to participate in the 2021 Permian Basin International Oil Show, our booth welcomed several visitors to meet our team and see what we could do for them.

Another Christmas, another productive year at Basin Design Service under our belts!
